Preparing for the CBLE was indeed very exhausting and hard in a way that I need to study a lot of pointers and topics, but it was all worth it until I finally reaped what I sowed.

During my board exam preparation, I did enroll to various tutorials and webinars — one of these is the CB Joshua Tan Tariff Law Tutorials which helped me and honed my knowledge and understanding with regards to Tariff Law. When I was made aware that Sir Josh was planning to open a Tariff Law Tutorials, it really made me happy because only a few might want to teach this subject given that it tackles a wide range of topics, and so I enrolled immediately. As cliche as it may sound, truly "learning is a continuous process". It must not be put into hiatus once you step out of college, even with more reason not to, specially when you decide to take the licensure examination for Customs Brokers. When I took the board exam, I did give my all for me not to live life full of what ifs. I invested in learning and honed my knowledge by enrolling in tutorials aside from formal review. I exhausted all opportunities available to enroll in tutorials as I have come down to realization that I still have inadequate knowledge despite hearing from others na, "Tutorial? Sayang ra man nas kwarta, tingbon nalang inig formal review, mao ra bitaw na".

Tutorials improved my mastery on the subjects and it did make me evaluate how much I still have to prepare to become board ready. Navigating Tariff Laws used to be a daunting task during my college years. It was a challenge for me since I did not focus on the subject at that time. However, along the way, I realized that I needed to learn about tariff laws. Moreover, I need to give the same attention as to my other major subjects since they are equally important in graduating and also for passing the board exam. That is why after I graduated, I managed my time in reviewing all subjects, especially Tariff Laws. I studied hard about this subject and in turn, it is one of the turning cogs that made me a Licensed Customs Broker. So all I can say is manage your time in studying and give equal attention to the other subjects since they are equally important in achieving your dreams.

There is no shortcut to achievement. Life requires thorough preparation. This quote from George Washington captured my heart as it truly reflect to my tears-dropping preparation all the way from being a Customs Administration student to being a Licensed Customs Broker, finally.

Part of this fruitful journey of mine was enrolling in CB Joshua Tan Tariff Law Tutorials - the tutorial that shaped me to be ready in vanquishing CBLE 2023. Before when i was still studying, I truly disdain Tariff Laws subject because of its broad and obscure international trade concepts. I was very happy and enthralled when Mr. Joshua Tan established a Tariff Laws tutorial with the end goal of uniting learners around a shared purpose - conquering CBLE. This tutorial made me realized that Tariff Laws isn’t all that hard.
